Shriners Hospitals for Children Open

It took 16 months, but Webb Simpson finally notched his 4th PGA Tour victory at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas. Simpson started the final round hot and worked his lead to an eventual massive six shot margin over Ryo Ishikawa and Jason Bohn.
The victory solidifies Simpson as one of the Tour’s brightest up and coming stars like Dusin Johnson and Jason Dufner.

Greater Hickory Kia Classic at Rock Barn

Olin Browne and Michael Allen finished regulation at the Greater Hickory Kia Classic at Rock Barn on Sunday tied for the lead at -13. The nearest competitor was second round leader Bernhard Langer who was two shots back.
Allen, who closed with a -5 round of 65, had to birdie the par-5 18th to enter the playoff. During the playoff Allen made another birdie for the win, as Browne made par.
The win marks the fifth for Michael Allen in his Champions Tour career.

LPGA KEB Hanabank Championship

Amy Yang and Hee Kyung Seo ended regulation tied at -9, at the LPGA KEP Hanabank Championship. It took one playoff hole to settle the score, a birdie on the playoff hole for Yang sealed the first victory in her LPGA Tour career.
Michelle Wie had a good showing during the KEB Hanabank, with a final round 66 which moved her to a tie for 3rd place at -8.
