Jonas Blixt “Blixted” the field this past week at the Old White TPC Course and the Greenbrier Classic in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Blixt finished with a two shot cushion after a final round 67 having started the day behind by four shots. The 67 separated him from a logjam of five players who all had a chance to win. Four players, including the new mustache-free Johnson Wagner, tied for 2nd at -11 to Blixt’s -13 final score.
This marks Blixt’s 2nd PGA Tour victory and moves him up to 39th in FedEx Cup standings from 139th.
European Tour

Graeme McDowell now has wins on the PGA Tour AND European Tour this season and should be a high favorite to win the (British) Open Championship in a couple of weeks.
McDowell lapped the field by four shots at Le Golf National with the closest competitor being Richard Sterne for his 2nd win on the European Tour this season.
With the win McDowell moves to 2nd place in the Race to Dubai behind Justin Rose. The victory is the ninth on the European Tour for McDowell.
Champions Tour
The Champions Tour was off this week. The senior circuit is preparing for a major championship this coming week, the U.S. Senior Open Championship at Omaha Country Club.
LPGA Tour
The LPGA Tour was also off this week. Coming up this week is the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, followed by the Women’s British Open the next week at the Old Course in St. Andrews.
