Golf Games: Bridge
Bridge is a fun golf challenge, played between two teams of two players.
Before each hole one of the teams bids on the number of strokes (gross or net) it will take for their opposing team to finish the hole. For instance, if the hole is a par-3 and team A believes the players in team B can't make par, team A may bid an 8 (4-4, 5-3 etc).
Once the bid is placed, the team B has three choices:
The first choice is to bid that it can beat the total score. If they figure they can make one par and one bogey or two pars in the above scenario that's what they would do.
The second choice is to accept the bet to see if their opponents make their bid.
The third would be to accept the bet with double the sakes.
Conclusion
Bridge is a fun game because it keeps all four players closely involved in each shot of every hole. The pressure is on for each player in the challenged group to play at or better than the bid.
