Part two of the Frogger Golf blog year in review!
Enjoy part one here.
July
In July the Killer Course was the fabulous
Golden Horseshoe Gold Course in historic Williamsburg, VA.
Phil Mickelson won the British Open, plus the Scottish Open the week before. Not only did he win, he dominated. Amazing performance, especially that final round 66.
Just for fun, try
switching tees on your next round. Shake it up a bit.
August
The bizarre
Meadows Farms golf course was the featured course, mainly because it has a hole shaped like a baseball field, complete with a diamond, pitcher’s mound and home run wall!
We talked irons, staying energized, and also showed an amazing way to get out of a
plugged lie in a sand trap.
Average Guy Golf reviewed the Frogger Amphibian towel.
September
In September we moved!
Some fun games we talked about were
Deuces and the
Mini-Derby.
We were happy to receive some unsolicited tee
love on our Twitter account.
Swede Henrik Stenson won the
FedEx Cup and the $10,000,000 in cash.
October
Foot Golf is a cross between soccer and golf, and quite fun.
We discussed what to do in the case of a
lost ball, which many people seem to do wrong.
The
USA team retained the President’s Cup. Not a big surprise. The international team has only won the event once.
We featured the
world’s longest par-3. It takes a helicopter to get to the tee box!
November
As the pro tours were winding down, odd golf stories were heating up.
A
croc attacked a man at a golf course in Mexico. His friends had to drive their golf cart on the croc to get it to let go. Thanks pals!
We learned that
houses are easier to hit than fairways.
Tiger Woods became the first golfer to
drive a golf ball from Europe to Asia.
The
Golf Cart Poncho video hit the airwaves with great fanfare!
December
The strangely shaped
Palmetto Hall Cupp course, with its square and triangular bunkers and greens, was the Killer Course.
Golf is
dangerous. Don’t forget that.
Motorized golf-cart-surfboards could be the wave of the future, pun intended.
Dufner duffed a putt.
Our
anger management video neared 50,000 views!
