PGA Results: Labor Day 2012
Good morning Frogger fans. Normally on Mondays we post the "Weekend Wrap" segment here on the Frogger blog, covering the latest news and results in pro golf over the weekend. Since today is Labor Day I first want to wish you a happy Labor Day and second let you know that Labor Day weekend alters the schedule a bit.
Tours
The LPGA and Champions tours were off this weekend, so there's no "wrap" to do on them. The PGA Tour is currently contesting the 2nd segment of the FedEx Cup playoff series at the Deutsche Bank, TPC Boston. Today marks the fourth and final round. Yesterday Rory McIlory came into the round with the lead, but South African Louis Oosthuizen shot a blistering 63 to take the lead by three shots. Lous's round included SEVEN birdies in a row. Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson are six shots back and will likely have to go super low to have a chance.
We will be posting the official weekend wrap, covering the results of today's final round at the Deutsche Bank tomorrow.
For now, check out the TV times for the final round. Enjoy!
