The event is an invite-only affair, with 18 of Tiger’s good PGA Tour pals competing for the first place prize of $1 million. Tiger has won this event five times, the last in 2011. Woods entered the final round two shots ahead of gritty Zach Johnson. Down the finishing three-hole stretch, Johnson went birdie-birdie-par to close that two shot deficit and force a playoff. All Johnson needed to do in the playoff was make par to beat Woods, who made bogey. Johnson will certainly enjoy the holidays a little bit more, with an extra million in the bank.
