PGA Preview: 2013 Shell Houston Open

PGA Tour Shell Houston Open Overview Ok so this week is tough.  The Masters is next week.  We're all so excited about the Masters that the Shell Houston Open is overlooked.  But there are some great players in the field (listed below) this week and still some great golf to watch.  Some of the big players on Tour take this week off to prepare for Augusta, but many like Phil Mickelson prefer to play this week to get their competitive play tuned up.

Venue This week's venue is Redstone GC Tournament Course in Humble, TX.   Redstone is a par-72 track which measures out at a lengthy 7,457 yards.  The course was designed specifically to host a PGA Tour event by Rees Jones and player consultant David Toms.  The course slices through lush woodlands, pine and cypress trees.
