Have we all recovered from the Masters yet? Not sure I have, but the Tour rolls on so it is time to look at this weekend's events.
PGA Tour
This week the PGA Tour took a short drive from Augusta to Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Course
The venue is the famous Harbour Town Golf Links. Remember, with the red and white lighthouse? Harbour Town was designed by Pete Dye in 1968 and a redesign was done by Dye in 2000. Dye is famous for his trademark railroad ties which can line bunkers, greens or can define lines in the terrain.
The course is a par-71, measuring out at 6,973 yards and ranks in the better half of the difficulty level on tour despite being a little shorter. The two most difficult holes this week are the par-3, 192 yard 14th and the par-5 502 yard 2nd.
Field
There are many notable players to watch. There are 17 major champions in the field this week.
World #1 Luke Donald hopes to have a better appearance this week than he did at last week's Masters. John Daly is in the field. Daly is always a big draw, despite the fact that he seldom makes a cut anymore. Ernie Els and Padraig Harrington are two players in the field who have three major championship wins.
Some of the young up-and-comers to watch this week include Rickie Fowler, Bud Cauley, Sang-Moon Bae and Kyle Stanley.
