Golf Games: The Rabbit
There are many fun golf games to play with your buddies on the course, as if golfing isn't fun enough. Today's post will cover one of the many animal games in golf, The Rabbit.
Not only are rabbits fun and furry, they can add some more excitement for golf games with multiple players of any number.
Rabbit Legs
The game can be played over nine or 18 holes. When one player of the group gets a skin (beats everyone else on a hole), that player gets one rabbit leg. If nobody beats him on the next hole, that player retains the leg. If someone beats him on a following hole, he loses the leg. Having any rabbit legs at the end of that set of nine holes wins.
If a player gets four legs in nine holes, then he "gets the rabbit" and wins a bet (usually $2 in my group). If there are remaining holes left in that set of nine, a "new rabbit" begins. So for instance a player can win four legs by the eight hole and thus a new, one hole rabbit game starts for #9.
Bonus
If a person wins the rabbit on the front nine for $2, then wins the rabbit on the back nine for another $2, a bonus $1 is awarded. So that player wins $5 total.
