Continuing on with our “animal” theme for Friday Fun, we are now following up The Rabbit, The Squirrel and The Snake with The Camel. How many golf animal games are there anyway? We will find out.
The Camel
Similar to the other animal golf games previously discussed, the Camel game can be played with any group of two or more players. Those players need not be in the same group either.
A player acquires the Camel by hitting any shot into a sand bunker. The Camel stays in the possession of that player until another player's ball goes into a subsequent bunker. Then the Camel moves to the new player.
The Bet
Similar to the Snake game, the player who has the Camel at the end of nine and/or eighteen holes pays the other competing players the predetermined bet. Once again, in our group the "Camel Jockey" doesn't pay money, but is allowed the privilege of buying the rest of the group frosty beverages at the 19th hole.
