Here's a bit of a zany tournament format, which could be used for individuals or team based tournaments. Tee Switch...
There are many possibilities in Tee Switch but here's the basic concept. Tees played are dependent on the score of the previous hole. Here is a standard configuration for Tee Switch.
Double Bogey or Worse
If the player/team makes double bogey, they move up two tees for the next hole. If there are not two tees to move up to, the team moves up as far as possible.
Bogey
If the player/team makes bogey on a hole, the next hole is to be played from one tee closer.
Par
If the player/team makes par on a hole, the player/team stays on that same tee for the next hole.
Birdie
If the player/team makes birdie on a hole, the player/team moves back one tee.
Eagle or Better
If the player/team makes eagle on a hole, the player/team moves back two tees.
