Here is a fun side game to play with your buddies on your next round of golf: Favorite Holes.
Most of us have our least favorite holes on a golf course and our favorite holes. Most favorite holes are likely the ones the player scores the best on in relation to par.
The Favorite Holes side game is a side bet in which each player picks his/her three favorite holes before the round. Picking them can simply be done by declaring them verbally or circling them on the scorecard before the round begins.
At the end of the round players compare their scores in relation to par on their favorite hole selections. The score is in relation to par, not total score over the three holes. Obviously using total score would mean that players would pick all par-3 holes.
Favorite holes is fun because it allows players to compare their best scoring holes with the best scoring holes of their opponents.
