Gold Games: Par or Out

Here is a fun golf game for low handicap players, or perhaps even higher handicap players who are playing their net scores. This is similar to the "Derby" game we covered a while ago, an elimination game.
Par or Out
As the name implies Par or Out is an elimination game. Players start on the first hole and those who fail to make par or better are "out" of the game. When the field is reduced to one player, that player is the winner and collects a betting unit from the group.
It is possible for many Par or Out games to occur in the course of nine or 18 holes. For instance, if only one player made par on the first hole, that player would automatically be the winner and a new Par or Out game would start on the second hole.
Par or Out is a fun game as it helps players concentrate with a little extra competition, but also helps them focus on simply "making pars" rather than perhaps going too aggressive.
