Tiger Woods is in the field this week having made it to Ohio in his private jet after playing two practice rounds at Chambers Bay in preparation for the U.S. Open. The only big named player not in action is Rory McIlory, fresh off missing the cut last week at the Irish Open. The defending champion is Hideki Matsuyama, who defeated Kevin Na on the first playoff hole to earn his first career PGA Tour victory. Tom Pernice Jr. is the defending champion. Pernice defeated Doug Garwood on the second playoff hole for his third career win on the 50-and-over tour.
