PGA Results: 2015 AT&T Byron Nelson

EUROPEAN TOUR Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Hosted by the Rory Foundation Dates: May 28-31 Venue: Royal County Down Golf Club (Championship Links) Newcastle, Northern Ireland Rory McIlory was the week's host at the Irish Open, and the tournament's charity recipient was the Rory Foundation. McIlroy was charitable, to his competitors. The world's #1 golfer started the event with a first round 80. Despite bettering his first round by nine shots in the second round, the world #1 and tournament host missed the cut. McIlory wasn't the only player who struggled and the conditions were tough, with only five players finishing under par. At the end of regulation three players were tied at -2: Søren Kjeldsen, Bernd Wiesberger and Eddie Pepperell. Kjeldsen birdied the first playoff hole to end a six year winless streak and capture the Irish Open trophy, presented by Rory McIlory. PGA TOUR AT&T Byron Nelson Dates: May 28-31 Venue: TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas, Irving, Texas What a great weekend for Dallas-area resident Steven Bowditch in front of a home crowd. Bowditch put on a birdie fest at TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas with a total of 27 for the week. Bowditch's final round smoking hot 64 sealed the wire-to-wire win, his second on the PGA Tour.  The Texas resident held off some great players in the field, including local and world #2 Jordan Spieth. Bowditch had great memories of the 18th green at TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas. He was married there four years ago:

"You know, taking photos on the green today was probably, wasn't probably, it's definitely the second best time I've had on that green since we got married."

LPGA TOUR ShopRite LPGA Classic Dates: May 29-31 Venue: Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club (Bay Course), Galloway, N.J. With her mom in the gallery watching, Swedish Anna Nordqvist carded her fifth career LPGA Tour title.  Nordqvist broke from the pack late in the final round by making birdie on the 16th and 17th holes. Nordqvist finished the event at 8-under, one shot ahead of the nearest competitor Christel Boeljon.
