Berhnard Langer had a two-shot lead coming into the final 72nd hole. The tournament was his. At least that’s what he and the fans thought. Langer then proceeded to make a double bogey on the final hole. Giving up those two shots meant that there would be a playoff between himself and Mark Wiebe. It took five playoff holes to break the tie and declare a winner, as Langer failed to make par. Mark Wiebe’s win marked the first senior major championship of his career.
