More season ending awards are rolling in from the Tour.
Shot(s) Of The Year
The PGA Tour has been counting down the
top 10 shots of the year. Quite amazing to watch them.
THE shot of the year without a doubt, was Bill Haas's "Houdini" shot out of the water on the 2nd playoff hole of the TOUR Championship, which sealed the FedEx Cup trophy and the $10,000,000 prize.
"I've hit harder shots, maybe a lot further. But under the gun I gotta put that one up there." ~Bill Haas
I could watch that shot over and over again about 100 times. Wait.. I already have.
Tom Lehman
Tom Lehman won the Champions Tour player of the year for 2011. Lehman's year was impressive with three wins, including a major. He also won the Charles Schwab Cup season long points race.
This is the 3rd POY award Lehman has won on the three different professional tours. Quite a trifecta. Back in 1991 Lehman won the Hogan Tour (now the Nationwide Tour) Player of the Year. Then he won the PGA Tour POY back in 1996. Remember '96, and the British Open win?
