PGA Tour
This is one of the more "quiet" weeks on tour without a doubt. The Valero Texas open falls between the Masters and the Players Championship, so many big stars off this week. That situation brings opportunity for up-and-comers and other players who need a win or high placement to help their cause for Tour cards and qualifying for other events. Justin Leonard would be a good example.
The featured group to watch the first couple days is the one containing K.J. Choi, Matt Kuchar and Johnson Wagner. Other
The Valero Texas Open is contested at the TPC San Antonio (AT&T Oaks) course in San Antonio, Texas. The course was designed by Greg Norman with help from Sergio Garcia. The Oaks measures out at a long 7,522 yards, par-72.

Champions Tour
The Champions Tour is in Savannah, Georgia for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf. The tournament this week is a different format than a standard stroke play event. This week's tournament is a 54-hole two-man best ball event with no cut.
The toughest team to beat this week is probably the Bernhard Langer / Tom Lehman pair. Another which could contend easily is the Jay Haas / Fred Couples team.
This week's host course is the Westin Svannah Harbor Resort golf course, a Troon course designed by Robert B. Cupp and Sam Snead. This 7,300 yard course favors risk/reward type shots, so look for some dramatic happenings this week.
