Golf Tips: Mechanical Putting

Some players complain that their putting is too mechanical.  You know, not enough "feel" in the stroke.  Those mechanical putts are hard to control, the club feels heavy, the body and swing feel stiff.   Henrik Stenson's putting seems to have gotten very mechanical, as seen below. See, the putt missed right. The push is often a result of being too mechanical. The putter is not allowed to "release."
