Golf Tips: Importance of Golf Etiquette
Etiquette, or the way you act, on a golf course is quite important. It is not cool to make noise when other players are hitting their shots, or move around when they are hitting. It isn't good, at least for karma and perhaps the roll, to step in someone's line on the putting green.
There are many subtle but important etiquette rules or concepts in golf, which will help you make or keep friends on the course.
How does one know though? You don't. But start with common sense and build it up from there. The more you play, the more you'll learn. A great way to learn is to try to play with a more experienced friend who can explain some of the standard rules of golf etiquette right on the course.
Proper golf etiquette can't directly make your swing better or your scores lower, but it can make the experience you have on the course more enjoyable for you and others.
