Golf Games: The Wheel

Golfers who regularly play together usually have many golf betting games they play each time. Most common are matches between individual players, skins, and two-player matches like Player-1 and Player-2 taking on Player-3 and Player-4. In the case of the singles matches or two-player matches, a crazy but fun thing to do is the "wheel" bet.
When betting the wheel, every possible team or individual combination is matched against every other possible combination. Let us say we are a group of eight total players. If betting the wheel for individual matches, Player-1 would have matches against all players 2-8. He would have seven total individual matches.
In the case of two-player teams, Players 1 and 2 would have bets against two man teams comprised of players 3 and 4, 3 and 5, 3 and 6, 3 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 5, 4 and 6, 4 and 7, 4 and 8, 5 and 6, 5 and 7, 5 and 8, 6 and 7, 6 and 8, 7 and 8. In other words, every possible two-player combination.
Caveats
There are a couple of situations in this type of betting game which require caution. If one were to have $5 nassaus in each bet ($5 for front nine, $5 for back nine, $5 for totals), one could potentially lose $15 per bet. So in singles $15 x 7 equals a potential loss of $105.
Then again, if one were to win all the bets, $105 would be coming home to the well playing golfer's wallet!
The other caveat is the amount of time it would take to settle all the bets. If there were singles and teams in a group of eight players, it could take 30 minutes or more to go through all the scores/teams and settle up.
In short, budget your cash and your time accordingly!
