Golf Games: Defender

Here's a fun game along similar lines to the Beat The Worst game mentioned previously.  This one is called "Defender." Defender A minimum of two players is required to play Defender, three players being the optimum.  Each hole has a defender.  The defender rotates every hole and the order can be predetermined or simply set by the teeing order of the first hole. The defender on a hole must at least tie the hole.  Points are awarded by the following criteria: 1. Defender is awarded two points for winning the hole 2. Defender is awarded one point for tying the best score 3. All players except the defender are awarded one point if the defender fails to tie or win the hole At the end of the round points are totaled up to determine the winner.  In our regular golf group, we award $1.00 per point.
