The Bet
Before the round, determine the bet amount. $1.00, $2.00, $5.00, a frosty beverage etc. During the round, any player who misses a fairway on a par-4 or par-5 but still makes par or better, wins an Arnie. Obviously the bet is not in play on par-3's.
At the end of the round, tally up how many Arnies each player has and settle the bets.
Golf Games: Arnie / Seve
Greetings on this great Friday. If you're playing some golf this weekend with your buddies, here's a little betting game you can try out called an Arnie (or Seve if you prefer). The bet is named after Arnold Palmer and/or Seve Ballesteros, who were well known for their amazing abilities to get themselves out of trouble.
